Last updated: 24 July 2026

1. About Us

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the TILTA UK website and online store and any purchase made through it.

The website and online store are operated by:

T1 Camera Solutions Limited

Woodlands Business Park

In these Terms, “TILTA UK”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to T1 Camera Solutions Limited. “You” and “your” refer to the person or business using our website or purchasing products from us.

2. Scope of These Terms

These Terms apply to your use of our website and to all orders placed through the TILTA UK online store.

Additional policies may also apply, including our:

If there is a conflict between these Terms and a policy that specifically applies to a particular service, promotion, return or warranty claim, the more specific policy will apply to that matter, except where doing so would restrict a mandatory statutory right.

3. Consumers and Business Customers

Some provisions of these Terms apply differently depending on whether you are purchasing as a consumer or as a business customer.

A “consumer” is an individual acting for purposes that are wholly or mainly outside that individual’s trade, business, craft or profession.

A “business customer” is a person or organisation purchasing wholly or mainly for purposes connected with a trade, business, craft or profession.

Consumer rights described in these Terms do not apply to business customers unless expressly stated or required by law.

Any terms submitted by a business customer will apply only where we have expressly accepted them in writing.

4. Use of the Website

You may use the website only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

You must not:

  • use the website in breach of applicable law;
  • provide false, misleading or fraudulent information;
  • attempt to access another person’s account;
  • interfere with the security or operation of the website;
  • introduce viruses, malicious software or harmful code;
  • use the website to harass, threaten or harm another person;
  • infringe our intellectual property rights or those of another person;
  • collect personal data from the website without lawful authority;
  • circumvent technical restrictions or security measures; or
  • use automated scraping or extraction tools in a manner that places an unreasonable burden on the website or breaches applicable law.

We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect the website, our customers, our systems or our legal rights.

5. Customer Accounts

You may be able to create a customer account to access order information, saved addresses and other features.

You must provide accurate and current information and keep your login credentials confidential.

You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless the activity results from circumstances outside your reasonable control.

You must notify us promptly if you believe that your account has been accessed without authorisation.

We may suspend or close an account if we reasonably believe it has been used fraudulently, unlawfully or in material breach of these Terms.

6. Product Information

We take reasonable care to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, videos, specifications, dimensions, compatibility information and prices are accurate.

Product colours and appearance may vary slightly due to lighting, manufacturing tolerances, screen settings and the device used to view the website.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, cameras, lenses, monitors, batteries, tools and accessories shown in product images for demonstration purposes are not included.

Packaging, labelling and minor product details may change where the change does not materially reduce the product’s quality, safety or functionality.

We may correct product information or withdraw a product from sale at any time before an order is accepted.

7. Product Compatibility

Many of our products are designed for use with specific cameras, lenses, cages, gimbals, power systems or other equipment.

Before placing an order, you should review the product description, compatibility list, technical specifications and any installation requirements.

Where you are uncertain about compatibility, please contact us before ordering and provide the exact brand, model and configuration of your equipment.

Compatibility information is based on the equipment versions and configurations reasonably known to us at the time of publication. Third-party manufacturers may change their products without notifying us.

Nothing in this section restricts your statutory rights where a product is incorrectly described or does not conform to the contract.

8. Prices and VAT

Prices are displayed in the currency shown on the website.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, prices displayed to UK consumers include applicable UK VAT.

Delivery charges and any other charges payable to us will be shown before you submit your order.

We may change product prices at any time, but a price change will not affect an order that we have already accepted.

If the website displays an obviously incorrect price due to a technical, typographical or system error, we may reject or cancel the affected order. If payment has already been taken, we will refund the amount paid.

9. Customs and Import Charges

Where an order is delivered outside the United Kingdom, the destination country may impose import VAT, customs duties, clearance charges or other fees.

Unless the checkout expressly states that these charges are included, they are the customer’s responsibility and are not collected or controlled by us.

You are responsible for complying with the import laws of the destination country.

10. Placing an Order

The display of products on our website is an invitation to place an order and does not constitute a legally binding offer by us.

By selecting the final order button at checkout, you submit an offer to purchase the products in your basket.

Before submitting your order, you will have an opportunity to review and correct the products, quantities, delivery address and payment details.

After an order is submitted, we will normally send an automated acknowledgement. This confirms that we have received your order but does not necessarily mean that we have accepted it.

11. Acceptance and Formation of the Contract

A contract between you and us is formed when we:

  • send you a shipping confirmation;
  • dispatch the product;
  • send an express order acceptance; or
  • otherwise clearly confirm that we have accepted your order.

If your order contains multiple products, a separate contract may be formed for each product when that product is dispatched or expressly accepted.

We may reject or cancel an order before acceptance where reasonably necessary, including where:

  • the product is unavailable;
  • payment cannot be authorised;
  • the order appears fraudulent or abusive;
  • there is an obvious pricing or product information error;
  • we cannot deliver to the address provided;
  • the quantity ordered exceeds reasonable purchasing limits;
  • the product is subject to legal, export or safety restrictions; or
  • you have materially breached these Terms in connection with a previous transaction.

If we reject or cancel an order after receiving payment, we will refund the relevant amount using the original payment method unless otherwise agreed.

12. Pre-Orders

Products identified as “pre-order” are not immediately available for dispatch.

Any release date, restock date or estimated shipping date shown on the product page is an estimate and may change due to production, shipping, customs, supply chain or other operational circumstances.

Where a material delay occurs, we may contact you with an updated estimate and information about your available options.

Depending on the selected payment method, payment may be collected when the pre-order is placed.

Pre-order status does not remove or restrict any statutory cancellation or consumer rights that apply to your purchase.

13. Payment

Available payment methods are displayed during checkout.

Payment services may be provided by independent payment processors whose own terms and privacy notices may apply.

You confirm that:

  • the payment information you provide is accurate;
  • you are authorised to use the selected payment method; and
  • sufficient funds or credit are available to complete the transaction.

We may conduct reasonable payment verification and fraud prevention checks before accepting or dispatching an order.

We do not ordinarily receive or store your complete payment card number or card security code.

14. Promotions and Discount Codes

Promotions, discount codes, bundles, free gifts and special offers may be subject to additional conditions shown with the relevant promotion.

Unless expressly stated otherwise:

  • only one discount code may be used per order;
  • discounts cannot be applied retrospectively;
  • discount codes cannot be exchanged for cash;
  • selected products, regions or delivery charges may be excluded;
  • offers apply only during the stated period and while stocks last; and
  • a free gift must be returned if the qualifying purchase is returned in full.

We may refuse or cancel a promotional benefit where there is evidence of fraud, misuse, duplication, technical error or breach of the relevant promotion terms.

15. Delivery

Available delivery methods, destinations, charges and estimated delivery times are shown on the website or during checkout.

Unless a specific delivery date has been expressly agreed, delivery times are estimates.

Where no other delivery period has been agreed, we will deliver consumer orders without undue delay and normally within 30 days after the contract is formed.

Delivery may be affected by events outside our reasonable control, including carrier disruption, adverse weather, customs procedures, strikes, public authority action, power failures or supply chain disruption.

You must provide a complete and accurate delivery address. We are not responsible for delays or failed delivery caused by incorrect or incomplete information supplied by you.

We may make delivery in separate shipments where reasonably necessary. We will not charge additional delivery fees solely because we divide an accepted order into multiple shipments.

16. Failed or Refused Delivery

If delivery cannot be completed because no one is available, the delivery address is inaccessible, the address is incorrect or the parcel is refused, the carrier may return the parcel to us.

We may charge reasonable additional delivery costs where the failed delivery resulted from information or instructions supplied by you, except where prohibited by law.

Refusing delivery does not by itself constitute a valid cancellation notice. Consumers wishing to cancel should clearly notify us in accordance with Section 20.

17. Transfer of Risk

If you are a consumer, responsibility for the goods passes to you when you, or a person identified by you other than the carrier, takes physical possession of them.

If you independently appoint a carrier that was not offered by us, risk may pass when the goods are delivered to that carrier, as permitted by applicable law.

If you are a business customer, risk passes when the goods are handed to the carrier or otherwise leave our premises for delivery.

18. Ownership of Products

Ownership of a product passes to you only when we have received full payment for it.

This retention of ownership does not alter the rules concerning transfer of risk to consumers.

19. Checking Your Delivery

Please inspect your parcel and products within a reasonable period after delivery.

If a parcel is visibly damaged, or a product is missing, incorrect or damaged, please contact us promptly and provide:

  • your order number;
  • a description of the problem;
  • photographs of the external packaging;
  • photographs or video of the product; and
  • any carrier damage report, where available.

A consumer does not lose statutory rights merely because an issue was not reported immediately.

Business customers remain subject to any inspection and notification duties that apply under commercial law or the agreed contract.

20. Consumer Right to Cancel

If you are a consumer purchasing online, you normally have the right to cancel the contract without giving a reason.

20.1 Cancellation Period

The cancellation period ends 14 days after the day on which you, or a person nominated by you other than the carrier, receives the goods.

If one order contains multiple goods delivered separately, the cancellation period ends 14 days after the day on which the final item is received.

For goods delivered in regular instalments over a defined period, the cancellation period begins when the first item is received.

20.2 How to Cancel

To exercise your right to cancel, you must provide a clear statement informing us of your decision before the cancellation period expires.

You may contact us at:

T1 Camera Solutions Limited
Room 3, Unit 11
Woodlands Business Park
Ystradgynlais
SA9 1JW
United Kingdom

Email: info@tilta.com
Telephone: +44 7594 394809

You may use the model cancellation form at the end of these Terms, but you are not required to do so.

It is sufficient to send your cancellation notice before the cancellation period ends.

21. Returning Products After Cancellation

After notifying us that you are cancelling, you must return the goods without undue delay and no later than 14 days after the day on which you informed us of your decision.

Please contact us before returning a product so that we can provide return instructions and help ensure that the parcel is correctly identified.

Unless we provide another return address in writing, returns should be sent to:

T1 Camera Solutions Limited
Room 3, Unit 11
Woodlands Business Park
Ystradgynlais
SA9 1JW
United Kingdom

You are responsible for the direct cost of returning goods under the statutory cancellation right unless:

  • we agree to pay the return cost;
  • the goods are faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied; or
  • applicable law requires us to bear the cost.

We recommend using a trackable and appropriately insured service. You remain responsible for the parcel until it is delivered to the designated return address.

22. Refunds Following Cancellation

If you validly cancel the contract, we will refund:

  • the price paid for the cancelled products; and
  • the cost of our least expensive standard delivery method offered for the order.

We are not required to refund additional delivery costs resulting from your choice of an enhanced, express or more expensive delivery method.

We will issue the refund without undue delay and no later than 14 days after the earliest of:

  • the day we receive the returned goods;
  • the day you provide evidence that you sent the goods back; or
  • where no goods were supplied, the day we are informed of the cancellation.

We may withhold the refund until we receive the goods or evidence that they have been returned.

Refunds will normally be made using the original payment method unless expressly agreed otherwise.

You will not be charged a refund fee by us, although currency conversion or payment provider differences may be outside our control.

23. Handling and Reduction in Value

You may inspect a product in the same way that you would reasonably inspect it in a physical shop.

You may be responsible for a reduction in value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the product.

Examples of excessive handling may include:

  • using the product for an extended production or commercial shoot;
  • causing scratches, impact damage or excessive wear;
  • removing protective films where this is unnecessary for inspection;
  • modifying, drilling, painting or permanently attaching the product;
  • installing the product incorrectly and causing damage; or
  • returning the product without included parts or accessories.

Opening packaging or reasonably testing a product does not automatically remove the right to cancel.

24. Exceptions to the Right to Cancel

The statutory cancellation right may not apply to certain products or contracts, including where legally applicable:

  • products made to your specifications or clearly personalised;
  • sealed goods unsuitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons once unsealed;
  • goods that become inseparably mixed with other items after delivery;
  • sealed audio, video or computer software once unsealed;
  • digital content supplied immediately with your express consent and acknowledgement that the cancellation right will be lost; or
  • services fully performed after you expressly requested early performance and acknowledged the relevant consequences.

An exception applies only where all relevant legal requirements are satisfied.

25. Voluntary Returns

We may offer a voluntary return policy in addition to your statutory cancellation and consumer rights.

Any additional return period, product condition requirements, exclusions or costs will be described in our Refund Policy.

A voluntary return policy does not replace or restrict:

  • your statutory right to cancel an eligible distance contract; or
  • your statutory remedies for faulty, damaged, misdescribed or non-conforming goods.

26. Statutory Rights for Goods

The Consumer Rights Act 2015 requires goods supplied to consumers to be:

  • of satisfactory quality;
  • fit for any particular purpose made known to us before purchase;
  • as described;
  • installed correctly where installation forms part of the contract; and
  • consistent with any model or sample relied upon.

If goods do not conform to the contract, you may have statutory remedies, which may include:

  • the short-term right to reject;
  • repair or replacement;
  • a price reduction; or
  • the final right to reject.

The remedy available depends on the circumstances, timing, nature of the fault and applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts statutory consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded or restricted.

27. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Products

If you believe that a product is faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied or not as described, please contact us and provide:

  • your order number;
  • the product name and serial number, where applicable;
  • a clear description of the issue;
  • photographs or video showing the issue; and
  • details of any troubleshooting already completed.

We may ask you to complete reasonable troubleshooting or return the product for inspection before confirming the appropriate remedy.

Where a product does not conform to the contract, we will bear reasonable return or collection costs as required by law.

We may refuse a requested remedy where the law allows us to do so, for example where it is impossible or disproportionately costly compared with another available remedy.

28. Commercial Warranty

Certain products may also be covered by a separate manufacturer’s or commercial warranty.

The scope, duration, exclusions and claims process for that warranty are described on our Warranty Policy page or in the warranty documentation supplied with the product.

A commercial warranty is provided in addition to statutory consumer rights and does not replace, limit or remove those rights.

Warranty service may require:

  • proof of purchase;
  • the product serial number;
  • photographs or video;
  • diagnostic information;
  • completion of reasonable troubleshooting; or
  • return of the product for inspection.

Commercial warranty coverage may exclude damage caused by misuse, unauthorised modification, incorrect installation, accidents, unsuitable power sources, external causes or normal wear and tear, as explained in the applicable Warranty Policy.

29. Order Changes and Cancellations Before Dispatch

Please contact us as soon as possible if you wish to change or cancel an order.

We cannot guarantee that a change or cancellation can be made after an order has entered processing or dispatch.

If cancellation before dispatch is no longer possible, consumers may still exercise any applicable statutory right to cancel after receiving the goods.

30. Product Safety and Installation

Products must be installed, charged, powered, secured and used in accordance with the supplied instructions, warnings, technical limits and compatibility requirements.

Camera support systems, vehicle mounts, overhead rigs, power products, stabilisers and other professional equipment may require specialist knowledge, secondary safety measures or professional installation.

You should:

  • check all screws, clamps and connections before each use;
  • observe stated weight and load limits;
  • use secondary safety restraints where appropriate;
  • keep damaged products out of service;
  • use compatible batteries, cables and power supplies; and
  • avoid modifying structural or safety-critical components.

Nothing in this section excludes or restricts liability or statutory rights that cannot legally be excluded.

31. Intellectual Property

The website and its content, including trademarks, logos, product names, text, photographs, graphics, videos, manuals, designs, software and layout, are owned by us, our affiliates or our licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may use the website for personal shopping and other lawful, non-commercial purposes.

Unless permitted by law or expressly authorised in writing, you must not:

  • copy, reproduce, republish or distribute website content;
  • modify or create derivative works from website content;
  • use our trademarks or branding in a misleading manner;
  • remove copyright or ownership notices;
  • use content for unauthorised commercial resale; or
  • create a database or training dataset from substantial parts of the website.

32. Reviews and Customer Content

Where the website allows you to submit reviews, photographs, videos, comments or other content, you confirm that:

  • the content reflects your genuine experience;
  • you own it or have permission to submit it;
  • it does not infringe another person’s rights;
  • it is not unlawful, defamatory, misleading or abusive;
  • any incentive or compensation has been appropriately disclosed; and
  • it does not contain malicious code or unauthorised advertising.

You retain ownership of your content but grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce, display, translate, adapt and use it for operating, promoting and improving our business and services.

This licence lasts for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which the content was submitted, subject to applicable data protection and consumer law.

We may moderate, reject or remove content that breaches these Terms, applicable law or our review standards.

33. Third-Party Services and Links

Our website may contain links to or integrations with services operated independently by third parties, including payment providers, couriers, video platforms and social media services.

We do not control independent third-party websites and are not responsible for their content, availability, security or privacy practices.

Your use of an independent third-party service may be subject to that provider’s own terms and policies.

Nothing in this section excludes any responsibility we have for services that form part of our contract with you.

34. Ecommerce Platform

Our online store uses Shopify’s ecommerce platform to provide hosting, checkout, account, security and related store functionality.

Any purchase made through our store is a transaction between you and T1 Camera Solutions Limited. Shopify is not the seller of the products unless expressly stated otherwise during a separate Shopify-provided service.

Information about personal data processed through the platform is provided in our Privacy Policy.

35. Website Availability and Errors

We take reasonable care to maintain the website but do not guarantee that access will always be uninterrupted or error-free.

We may suspend or modify website functions for maintenance, security, technical updates or operational reasons.

We may correct typographical errors, inaccurate product information, availability information or technical issues at any time.

If an error affects an order that has already been accepted, we will contact you and apply the remedies required by law.

36. Our Liability to Consumers

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.

In particular, we do not exclude or limit liability for:

  • death or personal injury caused by negligence;
  • fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
  • breach of statutory rights relating to goods;
  • liability under applicable product liability law; or
  • any other liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

If we breach these Terms, we are responsible for loss or damage that is a foreseeable result of our breach or our failure to use reasonable care and skill.

Loss or damage is foreseeable if it was obvious that it would happen or if both parties knew it might happen when the contract was formed.

We are not responsible for loss or damage that was not reasonably foreseeable.

Products sold to consumers are supplied for private use unless the product description or our written agreement states otherwise. We are not responsible to consumers for business losses, including loss of profit, revenue, opportunity or business interruption.

37. Our Liability to Business Customers

This section applies only to business customers.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for:

  • death or personal injury caused by negligence;
  • fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
  • breach of terms implied by law where they cannot be excluded;
  • liability under applicable product liability legislation; or
  • any other liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded.

Subject to the paragraph above, we will not be liable to a business customer for:

  • loss of profit;
  • loss of revenue;
  • loss of anticipated savings;
  • loss of business opportunity;
  • loss of goodwill;
  • loss or corruption of data; or
  • indirect or consequential loss.

Subject to liability that cannot be limited by law, our total liability to a business customer arising from a particular order will not exceed the total amount paid or payable for that order.

38. Events Outside Our Reasonable Control

We are not responsible for delay or failure caused by events outside our reasonable control, including:

  • natural disasters or extreme weather;
  • war, terrorism or civil unrest;
  • epidemics or public health restrictions;
  • strikes or transport disruption;
  • customs or border delays;
  • governmental or regulatory action;
  • cyber incidents or major network failures;
  • power failures; or
  • major supply chain disruption.

We will take reasonable steps to reduce the effects of the event and contact you where an accepted order is materially affected.

Your mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

39. Privacy

Information about how we collect, use, retain and disclose personal data is available in our Privacy Policy.

Information about cookies and similar technologies is available in our Cookie Policy.

40. Suspension and Termination of Website Access

We may suspend or terminate access to an account or website feature where reasonably necessary because of:

  • fraud or suspected fraud;
  • security risks;
  • unlawful activity;
  • material breach of these Terms; or
  • misuse that affects other users or the operation of the website.

Termination of website access does not cancel an accepted order or remove payment obligations already incurred unless we expressly confirm otherwise.

41. Governing Law and Courts

These Terms and contracts formed under them are governed by the law of England and Wales.

If you are a consumer residing in Scotland, Northern Ireland or another jurisdiction, this choice of law does not remove any mandatory consumer protections available to you under the law of your place of residence.

Consumers may bring legal proceedings in the courts that have jurisdiction under applicable law, including the courts of the part of the United Kingdom in which they live.

If you are a business customer, the courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction, unless we agree otherwise in writing.

42. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be treated as modified to the minimum extent necessary or removed if modification is not possible.

The remaining provisions will continue in effect.

43. No Waiver

A delay or failure by us to enforce a right does not mean that we have waived that right.

Any waiver applies only to the specific circumstances in which it is given.

44. Assignment

You may transfer your rights under an order where applicable law permits or where we agree in writing.

We may transfer our rights and obligations as part of a corporate restructuring, business sale or transfer to an affiliated company, provided that doing so does not reduce a consumer’s statutory rights.

45. Third-Party Rights

Unless expressly stated otherwise, a person who is not a party to a contract between you and us has no right under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 to enforce any term of that contract.

46. Changes to These Terms

The Terms applicable to an order are the Terms in effect when the order is placed.

We may update these Terms for future orders to reflect changes in law, our services, our website or our business processes.

Changes will not retrospectively alter an existing purchase contract unless required by law or expressly agreed with you.

The current version will be published on this page with the applicable “Last updated” date.
