Amazing product and I dont think anyone beats it for the value however why would they make spherical hard mattes but no anamorphic mattes? It would also be nice if you could add barn doors, but not the end of the world especially for how nice the build quality is and the overall price point this comes in at

I mostly get gear from rental houses for jobs, but was looking for a MB for small personal projects. Id say the construction is on par with an Arri LMB, only limitation is the lens backs are slower to switch out and its probably a tad heavier.

This is significantly better then any Bright Tangerine MB Ive used for a fraction of the cost.

This is a solid Matte Box thats very well built and feels sturdy- could never guess the price I bought it for! However, like with most camera gear, 1 missing element of an item is capable of overshadowing all its pros hence making me reluctant on using it as much and that js the side flags or the lack of at least a mount to be able to modify it by adding one on each side.

Other than that its the best thing you could get on a budget considering the overall functionality, price, look, and built! Nothing beats it so far.

Ive been using this matte box for the past 4 years. The quality is great, lightweight and has the ability to be used with a wide variety of cinema lenses. Now that I purchased another camera, it only makes sense to pair both cameras with a great Matt box.

It is very comfortable to use with out any difficulties and made my job easy. It added descent look to my Red komado. I am very happy. Thanks to Tilta.
